As using uncoated papers becomes ever more popular, we at Technique Print Group have taken the opportunity to work with Heidelberg to develop a new colour curve to dramatically improve the quality and impact of image reproduction on uncoated papers.

The results have been astonishing and have helped us to win business from such discerning clients as The National Portrait Gallery and The Holburne Museum. The process has been so successful we are now offering this new technology as standard to all our clients who specify uncoated materials for their projects.

Technique Print Group have become members of the Banbury Chamber of Commerce for 2012. Being such a long standing business within the Banbury area, we thought it only right we get a bit more involved in local business activities & events and get to know our neighbours a bit better.

Our web design department have been working closely with Pacific Brands on a complete overhaul of their corporate website. Launched in April, www.pacificbrands.co.uk uses stylish imagery and some great UI effects to bring the company’s online presence up to the quality of their printed literature that we also design and produce for them.

The new site includes a WordPress based news page, meaning the Pacific Brands team can easily add their latest news and interesting articles whenever they like – although they’ve chosen to sign up for one of our popular Technique Support packages so no doubt we’ll be using the WordPress admin area more often than not! ;)

2011 saw Technique make many changes, we changed our identity, made investments in equipment with a brand new Heidelberg XL75 5 colour and an Horizon Stitchliner and we have seen new faces arrive in many departments as we have experienced 30% growth in sales. But some would think this year we would consolidate and sit back after such a busy year but they would be wrong! To stand still is to go backwards so this year we are planning on further growth and more investments to be made throughout the business that will keep us ahead of our competitors in both quality and service.

We believe it is all about having a positive attitude and with our total commitment to achieving success this year we look forward to a very exciting 2012 and hope that you too have a very prosperous New Year.
