Exhibition stand design – your guide
All about exhibition stand design
Planning your presence at an exhibition or conference can be a stressful activity. Whether you’re co-ordinating the people who will be running your stand or worrying about materials or other considerations it can be easy to overlook something important until it’s too late.
One of those important considerations is your exhibition stand design. They say that you never get a second chance at a first impression and your exhibition stand design will be the first impression you make to the vast majority of the people who attend the conference. Therefore, it’s crucially important that you get the design right and that means considering the exhibition stand design from a number of different viewpoints.
Making an impression to everyone
No matter how great your offer or how enthusiastic your team is it remains an eternal truth that not everybody who comes to the exhibition will visit your stand. This means that it’s worth taking time to make sure that your exhibition stand design catches the attention of passers by and that it’s clear what action they are expected to take, even if they don’t have time to visit your stand. Make sure that your website address is clear. If you’re offering a special offer to people who attend the conference then consider including a special URL that allows people to access the offer, even if they don’t come and talk to you on the stand.
Drawing people to the stand
Of course you’ll still want to draw as many people to your exhibition stand as you possibly can. Make sure that it’s very clear what your company does and how that will help people who attend the exhibition. Answer their question and identify their pain point. It’s far better to explain how you will help people that banging on about your product’s features. That is true in all of your marketing but should be especially true at times when you only have a short time to explain your company does and why people should be interested.
