I hope the last blog post on" target="_blank">marketing tips helped you make your marketing more personal. If it inspired you, here are a few more tips.

Write A Business Book

Why not aim high, right? “Most people think small – I think BIG” Donald Trump.

With the advent of self-publishing, you can write an e-book and either sell it on Amazon, or give it as a free download to customers or prospects interested in your company.  Every one and every business has a story – increase your standing in your market place by telling it.

Company Newsletters

You can publicise your book with video, social media, blogs and your company newsletter – everything dovetailing together nicely!

Personalise Your Printed Literature

We are seeing more and more businesses using their business cards for brand marketing in a different way. Companies are adding information to the back of the card, spoofing their own product packaging or adding pictures. It all adds up to getting their business cards remembered and noticed.

You can also add staff pictures and bios to printed literature or direct mail that you send out. Let your customers know who you are as a company and what your values and people are like.

What About Us?

No, not us, but the “About Us” section of your website. Add in some information about the company, staff or location that people wouldn’t expect to find there.

Tell your company story in a different way to how your customers or clients would expect; give them a brief synopsis of why you did something, not just the dry facts.

Making The Connection With Your Customers

All these marketing tips have the same aim – making a connection with your customer. The more that you know about your customer the more that you can help them; the more your customer knows about you the more likely they are to buy from you. It’s all about trust and connection!
